I was not able to visit the bridal fair at Rockwell. I still had to work last weekend. I might just go to the bridal fair at sm mall of asia.

I failed to post in this blog for several days now. I've been very busy this week. I'll be doing the tags as soon as I can. I'll also be visiting your blogs soon.

Employment Contract

I just finished writing a memo about employment contract/termination.

I can't believe it's Friday already. I've been busy the whole week. I'm glad I was able to squeeze in some time to post something here and to hop at some blogs.

Well, now I could really say "Thank God it's Friday!". :)

Another Week Ahead

It's Sunday night once again. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I hope you were able to relax so we'll all be ready for the week ahead.

I'm expecting this week to be a busy one. There are already several deadlines that I have to meet. I just hope that our other clients won't have to consult on new matters for this week. That would help me get away with the preparation of legal opinions. Of course, that would mean less work. :)

Wedding Preps

I have been so busy with work lately. It seems that everybody wants to get everything done before April 15. That's the reason why wedding preps have to be put on the side first.

I think there'll be a wedding fair at Rockwell at the end of the month. There'll also be another one in May. The latter will be at the SMX, Mall of Asia. I'll post the exact dates once I get hold of them. As I have said before, it's better to book your suppliers during the wedding fairs. That's the time when the suppliers give out about 20% discount and/or freebies.

I hope I won't be that busy anymore so I could attend those fairs.

Corporation

Until now, I could not believe that I am dealing mostly with corporations. Never had I imagined myself going into corporate practice. Anyway, sometimes you do not get to choose the path that you ought to take. You are simply led to it.

Since I have just started with my practice, I think that this is also a good start. Some litigation matters were already taught and practised in law school. In corporate practice, however, you will learn a lot of things that were never taught in law school.

Just as I was about to sleep, one box suddenly appeared to be available to me. This is one of the very rare opportunities that I could not miss. Why? Opportunities have become so rare lately.

I know that any blogger who have decided to get something from his blog would understand me. Now, I really have to sleep. Goodnight. :)

Blogging has allowed me to discover a lot of new things--things that seemed to be too technical to me, back then.

One thing that I have learned through my readings of the different buzz and marketing blogs is the existence of several marketing search sites. Before, when it comes to search, only Google's name comes to the surface. Now, I learned that there are other sites which offer not only a readily available user generated content, but also some videos that can be downloaded as podcasts.

A marketing search that will be made in a site that was made especially for it, will definitely yield positive results. Both the investment professionals' and the industry's insights are taken into consideration in order to provide the appropriate trends and opportunities. A search site that is worth mentioning is http://www.media.3i.com/. The site provides not only the said information, but also the pertinent podcasts that can be downloaded. Busy Day

I had a very busy day.

I had to work on the application of a foreign-owned company in order for it to be able to engage in retail trade. I also had to respond to several inquiries that were made by our clients. In addition to that, we also had to make a due diligence report. The latter task is just a part of the upcoming merger of two big companies.

Oh well..I think I have to get some rest now.

Long Weekend

There's not much to write about today. I'm just out here enjoying the long weekend. I hope you're enjoying it as much as I do. :)

What's Up?

Foundation

It's good to see that there are some people who truly care for the less fortunate.

Seeing some of the rich and famous sit at the Board meeting and talk about the ways on how to help some students go to school made me realize that there are still a lot of good-hearted people in our society. Those people could just spend their money for travel and leisure. They, however, opted to find a way to share their blessings. This made me really happy. :)

Apartment 1B

This day started to be very stressful. To temporarily forget about the tasks for the day, my officemates and I decided to eat lunch at Apartment 1B.

Seeing the ground floor, I thought that there was nothing special about the place. That opinion changed a bit when I saw the very comfy second floor. One can stay on a couch in one corner while couples can stay on the small table.

Of course, that was not enough to judge the restaurant. On to the food test..the food was good. You may try their lamb ribs and eggs benedict. Their Toblerone cheesecake was also good. I'm sorry, I was not able to take some pictures.

To those who work in the Makati area, I must suggest that you try it. Quite expensive but it will be worth it.

Actually, I think I'm one of the last to try it. :)
